There was a problem with my cave that I couldn't fix. The person can go through the walls of the cave. However, this does not affect the aesthetics of Keller's office space. Also, please "Generate Surface Texture" when first entering the terrain as the texture might not appear first go.

5 REAL TIME IMAGE CAPTURES OF THE DEVELOPED CRYSIS WARS ENVIRONMENT

The clients that I have chosen are Miranda Kerr and Helen Keller. The concepts behind my design are futuristic and glamorous for Miranda Kerr, and isolated, old fashioned, and straightforward for Helen Keller. Not only does this image captures the landscape of Mitchell Falls in Purnululu National Park, it also captures the overall concept of my design through the bridge; curvy and colourful for Miranda Kerr, and straight and simple for Helen Keller.

The textures used on this bridge were from keywords such as linear and swift. Linear representing Helen Keller's fighting spirit in facing such hardships such as deafness and blindness, and swift symbolising Kerr's "working whirlwind of six days and up to three countries a week." The texture on the bridge path highlights the movement of the two clients. The twisting elements of the bridge represents Keller's struggles as a person.

Kerr's office and elevator are shown in this image. Kerr's two storey dome office building onsists of a normal office that runs Miranda Kerr's own brand of fashion line on the first floor, and a runway for her to immediately promote and view her own creations on the second floor. The dome shape creates a futuristic look and compliments the bridge's curvilinear shapes. The elevator moves in a curvaceous path and is a long and narrow strip representing a catwalk runway.

Keller contrastingly has an office inside a cave for which she can be closer to nature and feel her way around. This small and compact cave is perfect for Keller to teach unprivileged children, who have the same disabilities as her, how to read and write. Keller's elevator, which can be seen on the left side of the image travels in a straight path and has handrails that are able to support her. The texture on her door symbolises a fingerprint as her sense of touch is so important.

This is where Keller and Kerr can both discuss their business plans for their own respective companies. The long table that I have created has been influenced from one of my perspective sketches and symbolises the power and strength between the two women. From the lifts, Keller walks along a path where she can feel her way towards the dinner table, while Kerr walks along her runway elevator.

4 REAL TIME IMAGE CAPTURES SHOWING 2 DRAFT CRYSIS WARS ENVIRONMENTS

DRAFT 1: MONUMENT VALLEY (AMERICA)

DRAFT 2: PURNULULU NATIONAL PARK - MITCHELL FALLS (AUSTRALIA)

This image shows my first attempt at creating this landscape before I had learnt how to make water volumes and waterfalls in Crysis.

This is a more developed image of the valley, but it still doesn't have waterfalls included in it yet.

1 X SKETCHUP MODEL THAT INCLUDES THE TWO ELEVATORS AND DINING TABLE

The sketchup file had to be separated into three different parts as the file was too big and could not export in one go.

Inspirations and Initial Sketches

These were my initial inspirations and sketches for my concept. Initially I wanted to create a fusion between the two most iconic bridges in each clients' respective countries. The image on the left shows sketches of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and the Harbour Bridge in Sydney.

However, after thinking about it further, I came up withe the concept on the right where Miranda Kerr's side of the bridge would be all curvilinear lines to represent her busy schedule, curvaceous body, and futuristic lifestyle, and Helen Keller's side would be straight lines symbolising her approach to overcome her barriers, and her old fashion lifestyle. Also, from Kerr's side, she can see the straight lines of Keller's side representing a long runway in which she can walk on, and from Keller's side, the curvaceous patterns are visible to represent her initial struggles as a human being.

Initially I wanted the support of the bridge to be the posts of the Harbour and Golden Gate Bridges but I thought that it would not look as strong and powerful visually if I added massive posts on either side of the bridge, and it would draw your attention away from the bridge itself.

Finally the dinner table shown on the bottom right was inspired by one of my two point perspective drawings.

MASHUP OF 3 NEWS ARTICLES

MIRANDA KERR commands the catwalk she walks; HER face has flooded the fashion world. Helen Keller, overcame blindness and deafness to become a symbol of the indomitable human spirit. Angela Merkel became the first female chancellor of Germany in 2005.

Kerr's vision of reality is a working whirlwind of six days and up to three countries a week. "I just live in the moment and enjoy every step along the way." Her tremendous accomplishments and the force of assertive personality that underlay them were released through Mother Nature. This runway role model is a phenomenon in the supermodel and fashion world.

Miss Keller always seemed to be standing before the world as an example of unquenchable will. She excelled in school and loved being in nature, being outdoors and amongst nature. She exercised patience to overcome difficult circumstances. Miss Keller learned to circumvent her blindness, deafness and muteness, and she was in and of the world a full and happy participant in life.

Mrs. Merkel was the first eastern German to lead the country after its reunification following the fall of the Berlin Wall. "It can be a little overwhelming, but I try and embrace it while I can." Merkel was honored by universities and institutions throughout the world as her hunger for knowledge was insatiable. She has emerged as a leading political actor in Europe.

"I trudge on, I gain a little. I feel encouraged. I get more eager and climb higher and begin to see widening horizons."

5 REAL TIME IMAGE CAPTURES SHOWING A CRYSIS WARS ENVIRONMENT

These are the 2 axonometric drawings with 5 rectangular prisms that were used to create the final result.

This is the final axonometric sketch containing 9 rectangular prisms.

Electroliquid Aggregation: "The problem of the origin of the universe is a bit like the question: Which came first: low tech environments that need assistance, or high tech processes such as solar cells which gives assistance?"

The origin of the universe is represented by the low landscapes while the high-tech and low-tech environments are highlighted through Kuepper's side of the structure (the high and low poles). The top texture symbolises solar cells.

Image 1: Hawking's lab on the left and Kuepper's lab on the right. The meeting point is highlighted by the patch of sunlight. The shadows of Kuepper's side of the structure appear as high-rise buildings symbolising the high-tech society that can give assistance to the low-tech environments.

The meeting place is portrayed by the sunlight shone through the hole in Hawking's side of the structure. The placement has been chosen intentionally as it highlights the meeting point using the sun's natural lighting.

Image 2: Scale of the structure. This image also shows Hawking's ramp and the view from the meeting point.

Kuepper has to go through a long curved tunnel as I thought this passage would represent her tenacity and perseverance towards her own research. Hawking's ramp is much simpler as he is on a wheelchair.

Image 3: The lighting effects of the night time. Hawking's lab is illuminated in such a way to represent outer space and the universe. The cave that Kuepper has to go through is also visible from the lighting that appears from the cliff.

Image 4: The bridge that Kuepper has to cross after going through the cave.

Image 5: The overall view of the landscape. The building is placed below the surrounding land symbolise that low-tech environments need assistance from surrounding people.
